As Winter comes to a close and the chances of snow grow dimmer everyday, I am making the choice to not let this Summer go by without making a difference.
I feel as though sometimes I march to the beat of a different drummer, but he doesn't always lead me anywhere. Sometimes I need someone to stop me from going through each day on auto pilot; tending to the daily needs of my family, trying to finish up the school year, and planning for the next Walk For Water event.
I find myself falling into a rut. I go through the motions, but I lose sight of the faces.
The ones who will forever be in my heart and memory.
So I don't want to march day in and day out this year, I want to run with passion.

Passion to speak, help, and change the lives of those who cannot do so for themselves. I want to know that choices that I made inspired my children to go farther, and do more than I ever could.
This year lets all join together, and make a difference by the little choices that we make. Hold the door open for someone, give up your seat for the elderly, let someone out in front of you during busy traffic ( I know that last one might be asking a little much, ha).
It is the little acts of kindness that make a human connection with others. When we start having these connections, then we learn what an important part of our lives they are to our emotional well being.

So lets make a connection.
This year lets laugh, cry, and fight the good fight for those who need our help.
We will make an awesome team!
