Walk For Water

After living in Ghana for three months, three kids could not forget the things they saw.  The image of women and children walking everyday for water was forever in their memories.
Touched by the fact that after a long journey, the end result was unclean water, they were even more haunted.
From these experiences, they came up with the idea of "Walk for Water."

Walk for Water is the idea of "walking a mile in their shoes."
It is the concept of walking a 5K with a five gallon bucket - the average distance and amount of water carried daily when people walk to get water.
Walking with a bucket is not required, but available to those who would like to try.

The purpose of Walk for Water is to raise awareness of the need for clean water
and to provide clean water wells in Ghana.
