A: Yourself, walking shoes, and a positive attitude. We will provide the bucket.
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Check-in will begin at 4:30pm. This will ensure we can start on schedule and gives everyone time to receive their bucket and sign their release form.
Q: May I make an on-line donation and not walk?
A: YES! All donations are appreciated.
Q: Do I have to pre-register?
A: You do not have to pre-register, but all registrations after July 31, 2023 are $30 (versus the $20 for pre-registration).
All walk-up registrations must also sign a release form.
Q: May I sign up to walk or be an event sponsor and pay by check or money order?
A: Yes. If you prefer to pay by a method other than a credit/debit card, please e-mail us at [email protected].
Q: Do I have to live in your area to make a donation?
A: No. Anyone can make a donation; simply choose the option for making a one-time, on-line donation.
Q: Is it possible to pay for more than one walker at once?
A: Yes, This year we have added the ability to pay for a group. At check out, simply list the name of all walkers in your group in the donor box, and select the "other" box to enter the amount for your walkers. Example: If you have four walkers, simply select "other" and enter $60. Each walker must still sign the release form to be able to participate.
Q: Do I have to walk with a bucket?
A: No. You are not required to walk with a bucket. It is an option you can select when purchasing your ticket.
Q: If I purchase a ticket and then I don't walk, will my money be refunded?
A: No. While we know that unexpected things happen, no refunds will be issued in the event of an absence.

A: Yes. Children are welcome. Ages 11 and up are paid participants at Adult price.
Ages 10 and under are $5.00, and will not be given the option of a bucket for the walk.
Q: How many wells are you building?
A: As many as we can with the funds that are raised. Our goal for this year's Walk For Water event is to raise $10,500.
This will provide three clean water wells through Wells For Ghana.
Q: What if you raise money for more than three wells?
A: All money raised will be used to provide clean water wells in additional communities. With your help, our goal is to provide as many as possible.

A: Wells for Ghana is a non-profit organization that provides clean water wells in Ghana and Tanzania.

A: Yes, all donations are tax deductible through the Precious Child Foundation.
Just make sure that all check and money orders are made out to Precious Child Foundation.
