***All registered teams this year will receive a small gift to help identify your team. This is only guaranteed to the names submitted BEFORE August 11th.

Let's make a change! On Saturday, August 19, 2017, come join us as we walk the LaFortune Park Trail and change the lives of others. Are you strong enough to walk the entire 5K with a bucket full of water?
People do it every day all over the world. Come and see if you have what it takes to walk a mile in their shoes.
After a trip to Ghana in 2012, a passion was sparked in three kids to make a difference in the country that burned a lasting impression upon their hearts. Last year, people came together and helped them begin making that difference by walking.

Check-in for this year's event will begin at 4:30pm. Bucket pick-up will also begin at that time. Carrying a bucket is not required to participate in the walk. The walk will BEGIN at 5:00pm at the Southwest Shelter location in LaFortune Park.
This is NOT a timed event. It will be fun, hot, and exhausting, but most important, life changing. Come Walk For Water with us, and give others the gift of clean water. The purpose of this walk is to raise awareness of the need for clean water in Ghana. 100% of the proceeds from the walk provide clean water wells through our partnership with Wells for Ghana. The total cost of each clean water well through Wells for Ghana is $3,500. Each clean water well provides clean water for 500 people.

*You may pay for more than one walker at once. Groups of 10 may name their group and be featured at the walk.
At check out, list the name of all walkers in the donor note, then select "other" to enter the full amount for the total of walkers.
