I really like Christmas time.
I do not enjoy the crazy mall shopping and looking for a parking space that seems to never be available when I need it.
Over the past few years, I have simplified my Christmas rituals.
I no longer can be seen in the black Friday madness. In my maturing age, I no longer find it "fun" to stand outside of Khols at 4:00 in the morning with my friend.
This no longer counts as quality girl time for me.

I do however, still love to see others become excited to receive a gift they truly love.
I will confess... I LOVE a good Christmas surprise! One of my happiest childhood Christmas memories is one that had the biggest Christmas surprise.
It is so special to me that I rarely share it with anyone. I do believe that it has been one of the driving forces inside of me to always give and try to help others who are going through a rough time; especially during the holidays.
